18 Then three years later I went to Jerusalem to get to know Peter, and I stayed with him for fifteen days. 19 The only other apostle I met at that time was James, the Lord’s brother. 20 I declare before God that what I am writing to you is not a lie.
21 After that visit I went north into the provinces of Syria and Cilicia. 22 And still the churches in Christ that are in Judea didn’t know me personally. 23 All they knew was that people were saying, “The one who used to persecute us is now preaching the very faith he tried to destroy!” 24 And they praised God because of me.

3 years.... he spent 3 years on his own without meeting any believers? Wow. I wonder what the Roman officials or Pharisees or whoever he worked with thought.
They praised God BECAUSE of me. Boom. Testimony power.
Terrie's Comments:
I think Paul's testimony is a perfect example of how God works contrary to human understanding and ways. We tend to not send people out to do any kind of work without much training and testing to be sure that we think that they are equipped. Paul however got his training through Jesus Christ and the witness of the Holy Spirit only. He was radically changed and the word spread quickly and efficiently that his testimony was true. His actions and words proved that he was radically changed by God's grace!
