12 I have written and sent this short letter to you with the help of Silas, whom I commend to you as a faithful brother. My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that what you are experiencing is truly part of God’s grace for you. Stand firm in this grace.
13 Your sister church here in Babylon sends you greetings, and so does my son Mark. 14 Greet each other with a kiss of love.
Peace be with all of you who are in Christ.
Tori's Comments:
Paul's determination to encourage others should inspire us to do the same. I feel like we don't encourage each other and hold each other accountable in the faith enough, when in reality that is one of the more important purposes of the church!
Terrie's Comments:
This was a letter of encouragement... just in case you missed that part while reading through it :-) It was to encourage us that whatever we are facing because of our faith in Jesus Christ is truly part of God's grace.
We are to stand firm, go forward, don't waiver.
~ Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grown up into salvation ~ if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.

Please keep all comments respectful. We want to remember that each of us is at a different place in our walk with God. This is a place for us to share openly about what has been revealed to us as we open up Gods word and to learn from others. Please take every opportunity possible to build each other up in love :-)
